At The Unicorns Project, we transform miniature horses into enchanting unicorns to spread joy and create meaningful connections. From schools to hospitals, our magical visits inspire smiles, hope, and moments of wonder for people of all ages. Founded by Karen Rudolph during the challenges of the COVID pandemic, our mission grew from simple neighborhood walks to a movement of happiness. With every visit, we share a powerful message: joy is all around us—it sometimes just takes a unicorn to help us see it.

Bring unicorn magic to your event
The Unicorns Project is a FREE service dedicated to sharing joy through magical interactions with our miniature horses dressed as unicorns. From children to veterans, our unicorns bring smiles and hope to those who need it most. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on your generous support to keep the magic alive. Each of our private events have a "suggested donation" and all donations are tax deductible.

Remi
The Showstopper with a Spark
A 16-time World, National, and Regional Champion, Remi is as bold as his achievements. When he’s not winning ribbons, he’s making everyone laugh with his playful antics and love for attention!
Joni
The Sweetheart of the Herd
A two-time Reserve World Grand Champion & World GRAND Champion horse, Joni has the grace of a show horse and the charm of a best friend. She lights up every room she enters and always perks up for a sweet treat!
Tinker
Tiny but Full of Magic
Tiny but mighty, Tinker’s gentle nature has made her a beloved champion in the ring. She prefers quiet snuggles over the spotlight and has a soft spot for baby carrots and pear slices!
Dug
The Golden Boy of Joy
This golden boy is already a World Champion, but his true talent is spreading happiness. Whether he’s trotting in his glittery unicorn outfit or resting his head on your shoulder, Dug is pure magic!
Leo
HEADED TO NEW ADVENTURES IN NH!
An ASPC Shetland Congress Champion and AMHR Reserve National Champion, Leo has decided he'd prefer to be a show horse, not a unicorn so he's off to new adventures with new owner Celia in New Hampshire!
Skip
The NEWEST UNICORN IN TRaining
Skip is our very first Miniature Gypsy Horse! If you are not familiar with a Gypsy, picture a small, sturdy Draft Horse (think Budweiser Clydesdale!) but LOTS smaller! He'll mature ti a medium pony size - about 12.2 hands (or 50" at the top of his back) Skip came all the way from Idaho and is currently in training with DHTC Danielle Hill Training Center in Delaware. Look for him in 2027. He'll be available for pony rides for small children.
